Zeb has been getting into the Country music lately, so this is how one of the pre-sets in my Jetta is 'San Jose Hot Country'. Yesterday on the way to work I hadn't changed it to NPR yet when this song came on. I totally started tearing up. I couldn't help thinking about how the 'bee will be all grown up someday.
Then this morning I didn't want to listen to the debate on Forum over 'Little Saigon' so I turned it back to the country station. It happened again. This time they were playing some song about the stages of life and how it passes so fast you don't realize you're going to miss it...sigh.
Apparently motherhood + country music = weepy Jen.

Attack of the goop!
Zadie's 9 month visit was last Friday and she was just fine aside from a bit of drool rash on the face. She has ALL FOUR of her top teeth coming in! Yikes! Those first two bottom teeth were nothing compared to this. Oh how we under-estimated the power of the toxic drool. Let's just say Saturday was full of many many diaper changes of the bad kind.
Then on Monday we saw some goop in her left eye. Zeb figured that she got something in her eye. Apparently the goopeyness only increased at daycare. The policy there is we have to stay home until it clears or we get a note from the doc, so we went back to the doctor today. It is indeed the dreaded pink-eye. sigh.
I think this is officially the shortest time between doctor visits...only 5 days! oi. Why is it that we always seem to get sick right after our 'well-baby' visits?
